Stav Equities

Jacob Stavsky, a New York licensed real estate broker, founded Stav Equities LLC in 2022 with the vision of establishing a boutique Investment Sales Advisory Brokerage firm, specializing in off-market transactions. 

A New York City native who comes from a family of real estate entrepreneurs, Jacob brings to his newest venture a wealth of experience in the commercial real estate market.  Stav Equities LLC specializes in advising high net-worth individuals and 1031 exchange clients in the acquisition and disposition of investment properties throughout New York City.  To date, Jacob has brokered dozens of off-market real estate transactions totaling over $200MM.  His work has been highlighted in numerous industry publications, including The Real Deal, New York Real Estate Journal, The New York Times, Real Estate Weekly, Traded: New York, Real Estate Business Online and various other publications. 

Prior to founding his own firm, Jacob worked in the Capital Markets division at Venture Capital Properties (VCPRE), where he specialized in the sale of multifamily and mixed-use properties across the five boroughs of NYC.  He came to VCPRE from Treetop Development, where he worked alongside the Acquisitions team during his senior year of college, evaluating prospective deals for a company with holdings in excess of $1B.  His first professional real estate experience was as a broker for Green Homes NYC, where he demonstrated his passion and determination by canvassing local neighborhoods to dominate the highly-competitive Washington Heights residential rental market. 

Jacob has extensive experience in real estate sales and property valuations, particularly in the area of income and expense analysis to forecast Cash Flow, IRRs and Cash-On-Cash returns. He holds a double Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from The Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University in Manhattan. 

Outside of the office, Jacob enjoys golf, basketball and spending time with his friends and family.  He is also an active member of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).
